Ngaa mihi nunui ki a koutou!

I am of Maaori, Irish and Scottish decent. I grew up under the korowai of Tararua Pae Maunga, where the awa of Waikanae carried me in the summer months and the sand of Paraparaumu Beach would nurture my every step.

2019, a pivotal moment, arriving to my first mirimiri workshop alongside Manawa Ora. The first teachings outside of those of my Nan's and her Nan. A light bulb moment, where at the age of 29 I had found what I had been looking for.

My path?

My passion?

My reason?

You could say that.

With my tuupuna guiding me on this journey, June 2020, I attended my first waananga with Ruatau Perez. Attending many more over the next couple of years and practicing also.

Following in the footsteps of my Nan and many before her I feel deeply connected to this mahi and the reason it is necessary in bringing wellness back to all people.

I have a knowing of the body and how things connect, reading intuitively and flowing to where the mahi is needed. Through this I am able to connect the whaiora (person seeking wellness) back to their bodies (physical, mental, emotional and soul) which allows healing and magic to occur. Working alongside the whaiora and their journey, I hope to give them tools to add to their kete so they may walk empowered, uplifted and aware.

I invite you to come with an open mind and an open heart to receive.
