About Rongoā Mauri Trails

Reconnect, Restore, and Revitalise

Participants are gently guided to return to the sacred mauri of Papatūānuku, the living heartbeat of Earth Mother, as a portal for deep remembrance, healing, and self-discovery. Through the embrace of the ngahere (forest), you are invited to reconnect with the ancient rhythms of the natural world — to slow down, to listen, and to feel.

In this space, the ngahere becomes more than a place; it becomes a mirror. As participants walk gently upon the whenua, they are supported to restore and regulate their nervous system, and remember the innate wisdom held in their own bodies.

“The mauri of the ngahere mirrors the mauri of our own consciousness.” Join us for a gentle walk into the ngahere where we slow down, listen to Papatūānuku, and reconnect with the living mauri of the forest. Held the first Sunday of every month. Koha appreciated.
