Kawakawa is one of the most recognised rākau of Aotearoa, growing abundantly throughout the ngahere and long held as a familiar forest ally. Its heart-shaped leaves are often associated with comfort, warmth, and gentle support.
Our Kawakawa is harvested purposefully from our whenua, dried slowly, and prepared as a loose-leaf tea to honour the living integrity of the plant. This rongoā is well suited to moments when the body and system are asking for softness, presence, and reassurance.
Kawakawa is not a strong or forceful tea. It is subtle, aromatic, and grounding — inviting the body to settle, reconnect, and come back into balance.
